First time in 89 years

We so enjoy my grandfathers Wednesday night visits. He came to the Lord when he was in his 40's and since then has loved to serve Him in whatever way he can. He turned 89 years old last month and had never held a newborn baby before. Titus was his first. He had 8 children and never held them until they were at least 3 months old. He told us he was scared to hold newborns and that's why he never had. He was very reluctant to hold Titus but when Josiah put him in grandpa's arms he couldn't say no. Titus was 9 days old in this picture. I am thankful that i have pictures of both of my boys in there great grampa's arms.

Day after Day

Life sometimes seems to crawl at a snails pace. Day after day the same old same old but the Lord never promised to give us a life full of fun all the time ( though He does like us to have fun). Paul said to be content and God cares more about the state of our hearts and the joy found within then being "happy" all the time. We can always find something to be thankful for even on the most boring day. Thank Him on those days and He will turn your boredom to a heart full of praise!
